About the Jones Family
God has called our family to plant Hope Bible Church in Westerly, Rhode Island—the community where we have lived and reared our children for more than twenty years.
Our calling
A Gospel-centered church for Westerly
After living in the Westerly area for more than twenty years, God has given our family a deep burden to see this community reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To follow that leading, we are partnering with like-minded churches and raising support to establish a Bible-preaching church in this New England community.
Cornerstone Baptist Church in Oakdale, Connecticut, is our sending church. Together we are praying and preparing to plant Hope Bible Church for the glory of God.

Vision
Our vision is to plant a Gospel-centered church that exalts Jesus Christ, proclaims His Word faithfully, and makes disciples who pursue Christ’s mission (Matthew 28:19–20).
By God’s grace, we are committed to fervent prayer, the preaching of the whole counsel of God, intentional disciple-making, biblical counseling, strengthening families, and raising up the next generation of leaders—all for the glory of God.
Mission
Our mission is to labor toward that vision in Westerly by proclaiming the Gospel through personal and corporate evangelism, preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God, making disciples who obey Christ’s Word, counseling from Scripture, strengthening families according to God’s design, and raising up faithful leaders for the next generation—serving this community with truth and grace until Hope Bible Church is established for the glory of God.
